Simple steps to create your first Blog!

This post will guide you into creating your blogger account in simple steps.Then, you will see the way in which you can write and post your first blog!

Let's go through these steps in detail:

Step 1: Choose a topic

First, choose a good topic from your area of interest or expertise. It could be something like health/fitness, Information technology, education, cooking etc. Once you decide, choose a catchy name for your blog!

Step 2: Create a gmail account and after successful login then logout from this account.

Step 3: You need to create an account in blogger.com . Search for it as below and click on below link

Step 4: You will see a page like below. Click on "SIGN IN"

 

Step 5: You will be asked to choose a google account. Select the account which you have already created above or which you already have.

 

Step 6: Now enter or select the gmail account you have created above and you will be logged in to blogger.com and page something like below will be shown.

Step 7: Click on " Create Blog" and the below screen will be displayed.

Step 8: Enter your blog name and click next

Step 9: Enter your blog domain name. Since you need to make sure that the particular domain name is available, you may need to try a couple of names.

Step 10: Example:-

Bloggertest.blogspot.com domain is not available

 

Step 11:  Example:-

 Let's try bloggertest9999.blogspot.com and it is available as shown below.

Save it.

Step 12: You will see  that 'bloggertest' is displayed as below

However your domain name will be bloggertest9999.blogspot.com

 

Step 13: You can click on the " New Post" icon below and it will open up a window where you can write your first blog post!

Step 14: Give you post the heading " Myfirstblog" and under the descripion "Myfirstblog description" . Shown as below

 

Step 15: Save your blog by clicking the save icon under preview         

Step 16: Now click on Publish to see your blog

Step 17: Congratulations! Your blog is published. To see your published blog, you need to navigate back to the main page.

Under the 'post' section - article titled  " Myfirstblog"

Step 18: Now scroll to  the bottom and you will see the " View blog " option as and you just need to click on it to view your first blog

Step 19: You blog will be displayed as below. You can see

Header: "Myfirstblog"

Description: "Myfirstblog description"

 

Step 20: You can also see your domain name here

See web address: bloggertest9999.blogspot.com

 So now you are all set to publish your blog !
